Message from National President
Dear Fellow members of JCI Hong Kong,

Past United States President Barack Obama once said that “Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” JCI members as the young active citizens make changes every day to help this world become a better life planet for the entire human race.

"Keep Changing The World" is the core theme of this year. The world is rapidly changing, as a JCI leader, we not just embrace change, we will be the one who make the difference. Creating a better world and a better future is a journey without an end. Changing the world is not just a slogan but a belief that JCI members are willing to take actions in their life as active citizens. We keep reshaping the world by nurturing leaders, believers, and stakeholders all across the globe.

This year member development, partnership, and internationalism will be the three main focuses.

Developing young leader is one of the significant objects of the JCI. Therefore JCI Hong Kong will be the platform to provide necessary help to local chapters and members to accelerate their growth and enlarge the positive impacts to the society.

Collaboration and partnership with like-minded organizations, businesses, and government will create sustainable impacts. JCI Hong Kong will initiate “Be the Change Week”, which is one of the programs running in UNDP to support the sustainable development goals.

Big Bay concept and Belt and Road initiative had been a significant focus for young entrepreneurs in the coming future. In 2019, we have summits and global survey related to this topic to empower young startup to pursue their dream!

I am your 2019 National President Zenith Lin. I am looking forward to walk along with you in the year 2019 in creating sustainable impact to our society and create a better future for our next generation!

Zenith Lin
2019 National President
