Co-hosted by JCI Lion Rock and JCI Sha Tin, the theme of this 26th 5-Star Training Camp is – Journey to the West (西遊記之JC真經). “Journey to the West” is a classic Chinese novel about Chinese Buddhist monk Tang Seng with three protectors Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing, who travelled to the “Western Regions” to obtain Buddhist sacred texts and returned after many trials and much suffering. They faced many crisis and arguments in their journey but nothing stopped them from achieving their goal. You might not be surprised that to see the commonalities between JC values and the story of this great Chinese tale. 

With the support from Head Trainer Suki Cheng and Program Manager Kenny Lo, there were 9 Assistant Trainers shared their “JCI Secret Text” - skills and experience in different aspects of JCI – to our participants. Thank you for their support and inspirations in making the Training so successful. 

Just like Tang Seng and his protectors, chemistry and bonded relationship are easily found in 5-Star Training Camp between participants, group leaders and trainers from different chapters. Their paths may change as life goes on, but the bond between them remains ever.
