Advancing the Global Goals for Sustainable Development at
2017 JCI Kanazawa Conference
(17 to 19 February 2017)
This is the second annual JCI Kanazawa Conference since the adoption of Kanazawa Declaration in 2015, building on the achievements of its first year of implementation and promoting the United Nation Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) further. Delegates were expected to return to their National and Local Organizations to define and prioritize the most relevant goals and take actions to achieve these goals.
The Hong Kong delegation included National President Teresa Poon, JCI Vice President Anthony Leung, JCI UN & External Affairs Committee Member, Asia and the Pacific Ronald Kan, National Executive Vice President Leo Li, National Sustainable Development Goals Affairs Director Alex Tse, National Sustainable Development Goals Affairs Officer Kitty Li and National Sustainable Development Goals Affairs Commission Vice Chairman Cecilia Ho.
